
MJHS Bowling is back! A pre-season meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 17th from 2:15-3:00 in the MJHS Library. All athletes must have a current physical on file in order to participate. It might be cold outside but it’s nice and cozy inside MJHS! It’s flannel season for our Manhattan Demons. Students and staff wore their favorite flannel today to celebrate our last in person learning day before winter break!





Mrs. Coffey’s class teamed up with Mrs. Pedziwater once again to put on a “winterful” ❄️❄️☃️ holiday music program today! The only way to spread holiday cheer, is singing loud for all to hear! 🎶

What a wonderful job our Kindergarten families and teacher did, collecting hats and mittens for local families in need!


On Thursday, the 7th & 8th grade boys’ basketball teams, as well as the MJHS cheerleaders, were given the opportunity to play at Lincoln-Way West against Liberty. All teams were excited and very thankful for the experience! Thank you to everyone at LWW & Liberty for making it happen!

Our 21-22 PFA team was recognized before the Board of Education on Wednesday night. They had an extremely successful first state monitoring experience that resulted in the Gold Circle of Quality rating. Congrats, PFA!

MJHS Choirs, Bands, and Orchestras performed their annual Winter Concert for a packed auditorium tonight. Thanks to Ms. Perkne and Mrs. Pedziwater for sharing the talents of our amazing students!

MJHS's Student Council is excited to be holding its Angel Tree Network fundraiser to help buy gifts for Manhattan residents in need! Students participate in a fun, friendly money war to decorate their grade-level tree with the most stars! Buy your stars at lunch by Tuesday!
