Hello, Manhattan Community!

Welcome to Anna McDonald School! It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2024/25 school year. I have spent all 15 years of my career at Anna McDonald School, teaching 4th and 5th grade and most recently as Instructional Specialist. This year I will proudly serve as Anna McDonald’s building principal.

The school, students, staff, and families hold a very dear place in my heart. As our district restructures, Anna McDonald will enter its first year as a 2nd and 3rd grade building. This change brings much anticipation and excitement to our walls. As the flagship school of the district, Anna McDonald has a long history of proudly serving our community. We are excited to continue this tradition, while also beginning new ones! Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a positive and engaging educational experience for all students. We prioritize both academic success, as well as character development. We believe in growing the whole child. In doing so, we offer a variety of classes beyond our core academic and social/emotional curriculums including STREAM, Music, Art, Physical Education, and Library.

As we all enter a new chapter, I want to thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. As a mother of three school aged children, I know firsthand the importance of creating a positive learning experience for our students. Together, we will make this a remarkable year filled with growth, achievement, and memorable experiences!
