"Third Grade students are celebrating March Madness in STEM class by coding their Dash robots to shoot baskets!"

MIS Student Council asked their teachers, "ORANGE you glad it's almost Spring Break?!" Feeling punny, they stocked the teachers' lounge with lots of on-theme goodies to show their appreciation for our top notch MIS staff.

Mrs. Hassett's 8th Grade Advanced ELA students showcased their discussion skills in the library with a student-led Socratic Seminar after finishing The Hunger Games!
Students posed in-depth questions to each other, exploring dystopian societies, character development, point of view, and theme. They demonstrated their ability to build on each other's responses, drive the conversation forward, and reference the text to make real-world connections.
These critical thinking and discussion skills will carry over into their writing as they analyze a chosen theme in essay format in the coming weeks. Fantastic job, students! 👏🔥
