REQUEST FOR BID- AGRICULTURAL LEASES
Manhattan School District 114 invites bids from qualified parties for agricultural leases at on District-owned site. Qualified parties must have their primary residence within the boundaries of Manhattan School District #114.
Sealed bids must be in the form of specified in the bid specifications, and must be received by November 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the District Office located at 15646 W. Smith Road, Manhattan, IL 60442; bid opening will commence at 10:00 a.m. on November 1, 2024. Bids received after the submittal time will be rejected and returned unopened to the sender. Bids (or modifications thereof) which are submitted in oral, telegraphic, telephonic, email facsimile or any other form will not be considered.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality; non-conformities, irregularities or defects in any or all bids and to accept that bid which in its opinion is in the best interest of the School District. Any such decision shall be considered final. All bids shall be deemed final, conclusive, and irrevocable, and once opened no bid shall be subject to correction or amendment for any error or miscalculation. No bid shall be withdrawn without the consent of the Board of Education after the scheduled closing time for the reception of the bids. All bids submitted shall be valid for a minimum of sixty (60) days after the date for the bid opening.
A complete proposal package may be obtained at the office of the Superintendent 15646 W Smith Road, Manhattan IL 60442 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. There Is no charge for the package.
