Public Notice Invitation for Custodial Service Bids
INVITATION TO BID
CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR MANHATTAN SCHOOL DISTRICT 114
Sealed bids and contract for Custodial Services for the MANHATTAN SCHOOL DISTRICT 114 will be received at the address listed below until April 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time. Bids will not be received or considered thereafter. The bidder is solely responsible for delivery of its bid. The Manhattan School District 114 will not accept changes to bids based on a bidder’s mistake of fact which could have been corrected prior to submitting a bid.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above stated time and place. Proposals not physically received by the date and time listed above will be returned, unopened to the firm. Emailed or faxed bids will not be accepted. All proposals should be addressed to:

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 9:00 AM starting at Manhattan School District 114, 25632 S. Gougar Rd Manhattan, IL. 60442. This meeting will be listed on the cover sheet if required. The Manhattan 114 School District will have representatives available at this meeting to address questions raised by bidders. Bids will only be accepted from those who are represented at the pre-bid meeting/site visits. This walkthrough will give each potential bidder the opportunity to accurately judge the size and scope of work that is necessary to accurately bid on the project and will serve as an opportunity to ask any potential questions that may arise while calculating the total cost of the project.

The contract documents may be obtained via email by contacting Sarah Bancsy at sbancsy@manhattan114.org. Addendums will be issued to registered document holders only.
The successful bidder must provide proper insurance each contractor is to submit their bid as indicated in the specifications and include all signed supporting documents.
The Manhattan School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bidding. Award of Contract: The Manhattan School District Board of Education will make the final award of the proposal. The Manhattan School District Board of Education also reserves the right to modify the invitation to Bid.
The successful bidder must comply with applicable State and Federal laws, including those relating to equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination.
